2013 New Year’s Aspirations
Every year it’s the same… I set a LONG, LONG, LONG list of lofty goals that I want to accomplish, and I never accomplish ‘em. Some people think making ‘resolutions’ is a waste of time, or a discouragement (because of the high failure ratio), but to be honest with you, I do it because it motivates me. And reminds me of what I want to get done. And if I don’t get to it? Dammit, that means I’ve got something to work on come the next year… eventually, I will prevail, if I keep on… right? ((grins)) So of COURSE I’m going to do another list this year!

My inner 13 year old is giggling madly – but my 43 year old self is nodding sagely in agreement.
I like your list. Probably not going to do one myself this year….we’ll see.
I always enjoy reading your aspirations. You always come up with great stuff. I never can think of stuff until spur of the moment. Then its like a spree of activity. Like yesterday I was hanging a new rod for shower curtains and had to repair the drywall from the damage of the old rod. Then hoe boy I was all over the house fixing bad spots in the walls.
