  • Day 5:
    Rosh Ha’Shana in Pictures 2012

I figure since I’ve been doing this every year,
I oughta this year, too, right?

Every night of Elul, we blow the shofar.
This year, they found wood to have as their ‘shofars’ with Daddy.

Boys helping Mama with the Elul cleaning… voluntarily!

Owen thinks he’s going to help me sort pictures.  Hrm…

Erev Tishri is our candlelight mikvah,
and you can see why the kids LOVE it so much!
It’s so warm and quiet and glowing and smells lovely.
NoTe:  I edited this, as I’m uneasy about posting things that could be abused/misconstrued.

Decorating the crown for our Rosh Ha’Shana supper!

Pizza Picnic at the park before our Tashlich.
((This place kinda sucked.  We won’t go back again.))

Okay it sucked except this really kewl stump.

Casting our sins into the depths.

Isaac has some BIG sins… ROFL!!!!

Yes, I missed taking a picture of our feast, but I have one from each meal, and it doesn’t change all that much.  This year we swapped out carrots for corn on the cob, and our special fruit was ‘Dinosaur eggs Plumcots’ (<— weird).  And our streamers and balloons were/are yellow and purple.

But there’s an expanded version of our feast celebration!
