Month: May 2013

  • Still trying to get into the groove of posting protected for anything personal, and public for info stuff.  I’m not so good at this – look: I posted a picture of the bookshelf publicly.  Isn’t that personal?  I… have to figure it all out.  And then I went and posted about Ethan’s over-heating at FB, and had to remind myself that I’m not posting there, anymore, and delete it.  Will I ever figure out the new groove?

  • Signs in the Sky:   Rings & Alignments

On June 15, 2003, just seven days AFTER Shavuot/Pentecost, there was an amazing beautiful eclipse, called an ‘engagement ring’ eclipse.  The bridegroom ‘goes to prepare a place for us’… and He leaves with the promise to return to take us to that place.  So this ‘engagement ring’ eclipse was a reminder of that promise He made to us, and was definitely spiritually noteworthy.

eclipserIt was unlike any ever seen before for several reasons: It was known as an ‘engagement ring’ eclipse – it looked like a ring of promise. It also was located in the constellation that symbolized Christ the coming King, right in the middle of the seven sister stars representative of the church. ((binding Christ to His bride!)) And the most unusual thing was that – unlike any other lunar eclipse – it came from the east, and not from the west. ((Christ is foretold to come from the eastern sky, so there’s Biblical significance there.))

I have long held that the engagement ring eclipse
on that very special day was the start of the countdown.

DSCF4743 (640x480)See, the first chapter of Revelation explains the situation: Messiah left.  He said -when on earth – that no man knoweth the day or the hour, not the angels above nor the Son of Man on earth.  But the first chapter of Revelation, written decades later, states right off the bat that now that the Son has returned to Heaven, He has been given the revelation of what is to come and when it will happen… and in His grace and benevolence, He shares it with us via the apostle/prophet, John.  Hence, Revelation.

Then we’re given ‘the letters’, which are both words of warning to the seven churches, but they’re also a timeline of church eras to the end.  So Chapters 2 & 3 are a timeline from 33AD-ish (when Messiah left) all the way thru to 2003.  The engagement ring eclipse on Shavuot/Passover was the marker, the ‘reminder’ of the promise our Bridegroom made us.  The announcement in the Heavens that it’s time for that promise to come to the forefront. We move OUT of that timeline into the next events at that eclipse.

And of course you all should know by now that 1/1/2007 was the start of the seal judments, one every six months starting with Solana’s ENPI kick-off.   I’ve written enough about the Six-Month Suggestion (SMS) that by now that should be common knowledge.  So from 2003 to 2007 were the events of Chapters 4&5… in Heaven, so of course we did not see them as they happened.

Three years (three months) after that -  SEVEN years after that special sign in the heavens marking the bride’s ‘engagement’ to Yehshua there was another sign.  On May 16, 2010  Seven days AFTER Shavuot/Pentecost in 2010 there was ANOTHER unusual sign in the heavens.  This time, it’s the conjunction of the moon (in the shape of a bowl) with Venus (Bright morning star) coming down into it, and this took place in between the horns of Taurus, which symbolize the one who will bring judgment.  The timing on these two events and their meanings are astonishing.

Annular-Solar-Eclipse_broadcastBack to the eclipse thing. May 20, 2012 - last year – there was another special eclipse, this time seven days BEFORE Shavuot/Pentecost. A HUGE event, all around the world.   This time?   It was not an engagement ring eclipse… it’s a WEDDING ring eclipse, also in Taurus.  If we were reminded of the promise that He left to prepare a place for us with the 2003 eclipse, we are now being reminded of the promise that we are His bride, the people that are about to be redeemed by the one who has given us our engagement ring..   Here’s a picture of the May 20th eclipse… taken at the top of Mt. Fuji
And this…!  The ‘wedding ring’ eclipse.

So I was really geeked, last year.  Not knowing that it would happen again, this year… on May 9, 2013, again exactly 7 days BEFORE Shavuot/Pentecost, again in the constellation of the coming King.

What the heck?!  I’m just asking, because… this is getting to be…!!  So I went back to 2011.  If we had an event in 2010, 2012, and 2013… wouldn’t it stand to reason that there was something in 2011, too?  I’m just asking.  So I found out that the feast date in 2011 was June 8th, and I substracted seven days, and 7 days BEFORE Shavuot/Pentecost – June 1, 2011 – there was, indeed, an event.  A partial solar eclipse with a line-up that’s really something.  So I cut/cropped all of the photos, and thought you might like to see what’s been happening… and I’m posting them for posterity’s sake, too.

Here are the pictures of the eclipses, via Stellarium:

    May 31, 2003
Notice that Saturn, Venus, and Mercury are far to the edges.
Not involved, yet – it’s just a notification.

    May 16, 2010
Venus (Messiah) coming down into the cup of the moon.

    June 1, 2011
    Partial eclipse with alignment involving
Mercury (messenger), Venus (Yeshua), Mars (wrath) and sun/moon.

    May 20, 2012
Now we have Jupiter (Yehovah) and Mercury (messenger) aligned
with the sun and the moon, pointing to Venus (Yeshua), at the top.

    May 9, 2013
This year, we have Mercury (messenger), Venus (Yeshua) and
Mars (Wrath) aligned with the sun/moon, with Venus next to the Plieades.
They point to Jupiter (Yehovah) in between the Horns.

Brian looked over my shoulder just now and said, “Nice, but… what does this mean?”  It MEANS that exactly seven days from the same feast, in the same constellation in the sky, there have been three eclipses in a row, with significant alignments.  This is unusual, maybe even unprecedented.  It’s amazing.  It means something is going on that the Lord is telling us, and that we should be paying attention to it, because it’s telling what’s going to happen.  And because nothing is slated for next year, but we have three in a row here?  Well, that’s pretty significant to me!

  • Only I would pick a Mother’s Day gift that so completely overwhelms me and utterly destroys the parlor.  OTOH, I might gain back my window sills… because it’s a six foot by five foot bookshelf.  In the meantime?  It looks like a bookstore blew up in our house…

uPDaTe:  But here’s the finished project (or half of the finished product – the shelves that where here, before have transformed three other parts of the house, too!):

  • Our Very Normal Solar System Isn’t Normal
    http://www.npr.org/blogs/krulwich/2013/05…solar-system-isn-t-normal07

excerpted from an article by Robert Krulwich, 5/6/2013

Some things you just count on. Like if we ever meet a space alien, it should have eyes (and maybe a head). Like somewhere out there, there are planets like ours. Like we have an ordinary solar system —”ordinary” because you know what it looks like …

It’s got a sun in the middle, little planets on the inside, bigger ones farther out. That’s what most of them should look like, no?  We thought they should. In astronomy class(for any of us who took astronomy) they talked about a “frost line.”That’s a line, some distance from the sun, where it gets too cold to make rocky planets.

They said when a planetary system forms, the dust that’s closer in, on the hot side of that line, melts into rocky minerals, forming solid balls, like Earth and Mars.  But farther out, on the frosty side, the dust stays gassy, mostly hydrogen compounds, swelling to gigantic size, like Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune.

Distance from the sun sculpts the neighborhood. That’s why most planetary systems in the universe were supposed to look like us. Rocky planets in, gassy planets farther out.  Then we looked. And what did we discover?

Big gassy planets not where they should be. Instead of keeping their distance, and staying past the frost line, there are dozens and dozens of Jupiter-sized balls (big! really big!) tucked incredibly close to their star, squeezing so close, their “year,” their orbit, lasts only a few Earth days. They are in tighter than Mercury.

Which means these once-cold planets are now, puzzlingly, hot.Astronomers call them “hot Jupiters,” because temperatures at their cloud tops can sizzle at 1,000 degrees Celsius.

Or — and here’s a pattern that shows up very often — you’ll get not one, but two biggish Neptune-sized planets, like hungry twins, nuzzling together near their star. Very near.

Or we find a bunch of rocky planets — larger than Earth, but definitely rocky — gathered in tight formation around a star (with orbits that last 3.7 days! 10.9 days! Would you feel the whip, like a roller coaster?) and— large, then small, then large again, then small, then large … How odd.

As of this month, we’ve discovered 884 planets, 692planetary systems, 132 of them with more than one planet and, strange to tell, almost none of them look like us.

“We are now beginning to understand that nature seems to overwhelmingly prefer [planetary] systems that have multiple planets with orbits of less than100 days,” Steve Vogt, astronomer at the University of California, Santa Cruz. “This is quite unlike our own solar system, where there is nothing with an orbit inside that of Mercury. So our solar system is, in some sense, a bit of a freak and not the most typical kind of system that Nature cooks up.So our solar system is … a bit of a freak.”

All of sudden, we’re the abnormal ones.

…Mike Brown, an astronomer at Caltech… is getting more and more uncomfortable. Though it will take a while to discover smaller planets, right now there’s only one planetary system that looks a lot like our own, he says. “…What I would desperately like to know is whether or not it has the small rocky bodies on the inside too. But it’ll be along time before we can find that.”

Meantime, he is trying to get used to the idea that we live on an unusual planet in an unusual solar system. That’s two”unusuals.” One more than he’s used to. To live doubly-unusual, is to be luckier — and perhaps rarer — than we knew.

“It really is something that I find deeply weird,”he writes. “What does it all mean? I don’t know.”

aNNa’S NoTe:  I love astronomy articles like this… where science proves that where Yehovah set us is NOT found in the other solar systems.  It’s NOT normal.  It’s special – just for us.  This one is going in our nature notebooks (astronomy section)… right up front!

  • Please pray for my FB friend, who posted this, this morning:

“Please keep my family in your prayers – my parents went to Alabama yesterday to check on my sick grandma.  When they got there my father started bleeding and it would not stop.  He is now himself in the hospital receiving blood transfusions and under going surgery while the doctors try to find out the source.”

The man in surgery was one of the very few adults who bothered themselves to kind to me when I was a teenager, so my heart is really with this man.  I would appreciate your prayers almost as much as they would.
  • Spring WildFlowers

We went on a flower identification walk this morning, through our woods, out to the garden, and down the quarter-mile drive.  We identified:

    Bluets                                                       Wild Violets

    Spring Cress                                        Speedwells

Purple Dead Nettle (my favorite)                             Spring Beauty

    Dutchman’s Britches                               Trout Lily

    Sweet Buttercup                                          Winter Cress

    Bittercress                                          Wood Anenome

Wild Geranium (smells AMAZING!)  and Trillium,
which is supposedly endangered, but we have a TON of it in our woods.

… but couldn’t find this flower in the book OR on-line:

Does anyone know what this might be?
It has an interestingly odd smell, too.
We’re very curious, and frustrated by our lack of results.  Stephanie?
  • Fall of Damascus imminent?

    http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/05/world/meast/syria-violence/
Sunday – A series of massive explosions illuminated the dark sky over Damascus early Sunday, igniting renewed claims that Israel has launched attacks into the war-torn country.

Syria’s government said the explosions were the second Israeli airstrike in three days. The latest target, officials said, was a military research facility outside the Syrian capital. A top Syrian official told CNN in an exclusive interview that the attack was a “declaration of war” by Israel.

Syrian authorities vowed to retaliate against Israel but did not specify what action they would take.

    http://www.thetower.org/…assad-green-lights-operations-israel-threatens-missile-attacks

Tuesday - On Friday and Sunday Israel reportedly struck Iranian and Hezbollah assets based in Syria. …IAF jets had conducted the air strikes from Lebanese air space, staying out of Syria – but nonetheless Damascus has been signaling that it may escalate the situation.  Most pointedly, Syrian state TV announced today that President Bashar al-Assad was activating Palestinian groups to retaliate against Israel.

Al-Ikhbariya announced that the government had given a green light to Palestinian groups to conduct “operations” against Israeli targets on the Golan Heights. Hezbollah-linked media, meanwhile, reported that Lebanon and Syria had established “popular committees” ready to fight Israel in the region.

…Assad, reported…to tell the Israelis that Damascus would react if Israel struck Syria again. Syria, they said, would consider any such act a declaration of war and would contemplate firing surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles at Israel.

Syrian sources told a range of media outlets that Damascus had deployed missile batteries aimed at Israel that could respond to any further Israeli actions.

aNNa’S NoTe:  Damascus is supposed to fall.  Jerusalem is to be attacked and controlled for three and a half years.  I’m seeing it all lining up before my very eyes…!

  • Overheard from the boy’s room:

Hi-ho, hi-ho!  If any man hears my voice, and will open the door,
I will come in, and sup, and go.  Hi-ho!

Apparently we do a lot of faerie tales and Bible verses, around here?

  • The Pouring Out

I have been crying out, this week.  We are forty days from Pesach, and I feel as far as I have ever felt from Him, and it’s wrong.  It shouldn’t be like this.  I study.  I pray.  I think of Him all throughout the day.  I teach His ways to my children, I count the Omer, I stand in the midst of Ascension Day (today, until sunset)… and yet I feel far from Him.  This earth couldn’t be any more removed from Him, and here I am, sitting right down in the middle of it.  It’s been horrible.

And when I get to that point?  That’s when He reaches out and gives me a little boost.  It came this morning in the form of a picture a friend linked me to on FB… which sent me into my own archives for what I already had, but had forgotten.  Thank goodness for Him, because I can’t keep track, otherwise.  Even things I wrote only weeks ago…?  I don’t remember.  I’m so pathetically human, and I hate it.  But baruch ha’Shem Adonai, He steps in and sends a subtle reminder, knowing that if I really am contrite and seeking and crying out with a heart that wants and is desperate, I will see even the most subtle of hints.

That’s all it was.  And in fact, I had seen this message earlier this week, but blew it off completely.  I figured as it goes, 20 meteors an hour are nothing, and I scrolled right on by it on my Facebook feed.  So the Lord put it right in front of me this morning, and… well, this time I looked at it.  And realized that there are two things about this that are vitally important, that I missed entirely!

First of all, it’s May 4/5.  We are on the 40th day of the Omer, right now.  It’s significant to faith/walk.  And as I said, it’s not a huge meteor shower.  One every three minutes, and that’s if you’re looking in the right place at the right time… and believe you me, three minutes is a LONG time to wait in between, if you’re not a die-hard stargazer.  Not to mention the chances of it being overcast – I have THE worst luck with stargazing conditions – to the point where I almost don’t even bother, anymore.  ((On the other hand, one every THREE minutes?  THREE being another one of Yehovah’s big numbers?))

But it’s the Aquarid part that’s important. When I saw that, I ran back to my archives, because I remember writing a post about the Age of Aquarius – just recently! – and it was something important… it was a post called ‘He who will Pour Out’… and it being the Aquarid meteor shower, I felt it was very important to go back and find that post!  I wrote it January 4th, and it’s here. (LINK)  But do you remember what it was about?  I didn’t.  Which is why archives are so important.

Now, again – this is NOT astrology that I’m looking at, here.  I don’t delve – AT ALL. The astrological things were stolen from Yehovah and twisted up into something evil… but originally, they were good and pure and set in the heavens by Ha’Shem for us, as a promise of things to come.  And that is SO important, especially right now, when my hope has been rock-bottom and I’ve felt a trillion light years away from Yehovah Elohim.  So I went back and took another look at that post… to see what the relevance might be, if there was any.

And THERE IS.  We have been – I believe – in the Age of Pices for two thousand years (the symbolism seen in the two fish, above).  Also seen in the symbolism of the two denari the Good Samaritan gave to pay the innkeeper until He returns.  The ‘fish’ have also been the symbol for Messiah followers since the time of Yeshuah.

Now if the March equinox of 2013 is, indeed, the time when we move from the Age of Pices to the Age of Aquarius… could it be that the 40 days from Pesach to day forty are symbolic of that transition… as the 40 years in the wilderness (Israel), the 40 days in the ark (Noah), and the 40 days in the desert (Yeshua) are transition periods?  I would definitely have to say ‘yes!’.  There were seven days from the March equinox to Pesach (another one of Yehovah’s BIG numbers… and indicative of the ‘completion’ of something), and then we have the 40 days from Pesach to Ascension Day (forty being indicative of something transitional), and on Ascension day, there’s the Aquarid meteors… stars falling from ‘He who will Pour Out’?  That’s some beautiful timing and symbolism, there.  And according to where I believe we are in Revelations (on the cusp of chapter 8)… it’s time for the pouring out of the wrath.  Might this imagery, timing, and symbolism all be pointing to exactly that which I am watching for?  Exciting times, to be sure, if it does!

What does it mean?  I won’t say, because I don’t know for certain.  But I strongly feel that He wanted me to see this, that it’s a promise that I am to grab onto and hang on to with all faith and hope, and that it’s VITALLY important to what is happening (or what WILL happen).  So that’s exactly what I’m going to do!
