It’s Bueno!
Our weekend is the best, this week. Just so you know. Yesterday we got the boy pen half wood-chipped, the hay stacked and stored, and the hose fixed, today we power wash rabbit cages (ran out of time, yesterday). It was fun, the kids spent the whole time in the girl pen riding the girl goats and singing and dancing to ‘Salud’… which is actually my cooking song (I sing it loudly and dance around while making supper, often). Anyhow, it spurred me to look up the YouTube for a friend (and HEY, it’s finally been released to DVD!!!). You have to see this… everyone should see this, seriously:
Please show up, please show up… if it doesn’t show up:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QnpnHrUGC4I am crocheting, reading, relaxing with a warm cuppa… having a really nice weekend. The house is cleaned, vaccuumed, dishes done (mostly)… I even had some Mama time when Brian took the kids to go get hay and visit great-grandma. Wanna see where I’ve been spending my time? Here’s a peek in my living room:
Tonight is DATE NIGHT!! Haven’t had one of those since… did we go for our anniversary? Maybe. I think maybe, but it was in the middle of Rosh Ha’Shana, so I’m not sure. Hrm. Anyhow, it’s not REALLY date night, because Lydia is coming along, but ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn I’ came out on Friday night, and we’re dropping the boys at my mother’s house and going for Red Robin burgers (Lydia and I will split one), and then we’re going to see the movie.
Woo!! How fun! I’m loving everything about this weekend.
Hope you enjoy yours to the fullest, too!

Stay for the credits.
Hope you enjoy the movie. The reviews have been awful but I thought the other movies were alright and they didn’t review them too well either.
Love the old Danny Kaye musical clip. He seems to never really fit in anywhere, but he loves what he’s doing so much it just doesn’t seem to matter. LOL
OOH! Hope you have fun!
Love the Mama time! That’ll be me, this week. (Well, except tomorrow, when I have to go in to the office, but Tuesday and Wednesday are all MINE.
LoL!! I *hated* the first ‘Twilight’, the second was merely passable, the third was mega-drama… I just go to see how bad they can screw up the books. Loved the written Edward, HATE Rob Pattison in ways I can’t even articulate. Still, if there’s a chance I can see my Aro… :vvv:
uPDaTe: Okay, wOw, that was NOT for children. Lydia luckily has read the books and knew when not to look (like… the whole birth), but what was UP with the previews before the movie? That was horrific. Both she and I were having serious troubles, and there were like TEN of them, hello.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Hunger Games, Woman in the Black Dress, Man on a Ledge, John Cabot (was was THAT?!?!!?), some New Year’s flick, the weird Russian movie where unseen things obliterate people/animals…?!? What is UP with the movies? They’re horrible. The only one that even looked slightly interesting was the Zoo one, and I hate Mark Wahlberg *and* Scarlett Johansson. Blech. And poor Lydia – she was shaking before the movie even started!! Sheesh.
Thanks for the heads up, Stephanie – I was able to stop all the people around me from leaving, so we would all see it (although I was going COMPLETELY on your word – talk about a leap of faith in dragging other people into what I’m believing will happen… but then I do that all the time, here, don’t I?! LoL!!)
Your living room looks beautiful! The kid fence is a great idea, too. Might have to borrow it.
