Bullet Blog
- I’m shopping this morning.
- For intercoms
- I can’t hear the kids when they need me at night.
- Intercoms are NOT cheap.
- This is the best deal I’ve found…
- It’s… not that great.
- I’m also shopping for cellphone deals.
- Right now we have this deal.
- The one-year (350 minutes) for $99.
- For as little as we use our cellphones, it’s great.
- Even though I do end up buying more minutes.
- It’s cheap, easy, and works good.
- But it’s nice to know if there’s something better out there.
- And our year is almost up.
- There’s something funky to the right at the bottom…
- … Called Double Pay One Year
- I don’t understand it, so I’m doing some reading.
- I’m also looking for a Home Interiors-type swag
- On E-Bay, if at all possible…
- Town day was… town day.
- If that sounded tired, it was.
- Today we go to the library
- And K-Mart to exchange towels
- And Taco Bell for lunch
- And to return Picture Perfect
- Which really blew chunks.
- ((I now know why Brad dumped Jen.))
- Blockbuster did an oops
- And skipped over Alias 3:3
- And sent me Alias 3:2 and 3:4
- Um… can’t watch ‘em out of order, dudes…!
- I can’t imagine people working there are rocket scientists,
- … so I’m not really upset or mad… just ?!?!?!
- The kids caught colds at AWANA
- ((I know it’s not AWANA. Humor me.))
- I’m starting to think I should just let ‘em run around sick.
- Everybody else does.
- I mean, their kids don’t stay home whenever they have colds
- They just send ‘em to school that way.
- Probably builds immunity.
- Probably why my kids are always sick – no build-up from school.
- Bah. Trying to figure it all out is sooooo taxing!!
- Who knew mom-hood would be so ROUGH!?!
- I’m going to finish painting the master bath today.
- Brian’s going to rip out the kid’s bath sink/vanity.
- I’m also sewing curtains for plain wood doors
- And making a padded headboard cover and a cornice for the window.
- Olive green with burgundy.
- It sounds weird, but it’s a brain-thing epiphany… in my head.
- Whatever. (((?!?!)))
- hey, *I* know what I’m talking about.
- Two days ago a gal from my CM/AO e-list died.
- Complications in giving birth to her 5th baby.
- I’ve been thinking about my sister ever since.
- Don’t have to mention how much THAT sucks.
- Also thinking about my own pending next attempt.
- Not that I’m actually planning on delivering…
- I just plan to concieve
- …it’s all I may have time for.
- **Grins!**
- I’m thinking of making the Rev posts uncommentable.
- They’re so old… and people distract from the message.
- I don’t know.
- But it’s been put on my heart more than once.
- I’m going to start graphing/sketching the mural, too.
- Feeling like tackling some projects again!!
- Now that I’ve got scrapbooks paged up to X-Mess.
- ((They need to be decorated and labeled…
- … But I have to LEAVE to do that. Seriously.))
- There’s a scrapbook store 3 minutes from our house!
- I also want to get to Barnes & Nobles’.
- They have a used section I really need to browse
- For home ed reading materials.
- I have that $50 gift certificate…
- (((which I still wish was to Amazon, not B&N))
- Anyhooooooo…
- I’m also (((re, re, re, re-))) considering a church solo.
- I haven’t sung for church since I was 14.
- I do musicals, choirs, chorales, reviews… not church.
- ((((eek.))))
- I hate it when I consider this. HATE it.
- Topic change.
- Our house showed again yesterday.
- …once a week, like clockwork…
- ~~~nostalgia~~~
- Yeah. Well… I’d better get going!!
- Too much to do, too little time………………

Hey there!
~You sound like me..I have projects banging about in my head. You are much better at execution though :0) I am about a year behind in projects.
~That whole fiasco in our house at Christmas has left Brenna’s bathroom in a state of “Early Tenement”. I have a new pedestal sink for in there. I have to lay a new floor, put up wainscoting and texture the cracked, old plaster walls to give them something more like character and less like “ick”. Preferably by the end of the month for her birthday party.
Eek
~The “double the minutes thing” seems to be if you set up to pay for your year using your charge card or checking account on “auto pay” for the monthly..wuzzit…$14.99…you get your minutes doubled. Probably because at the end of the year most people automatically let the subscription roll over and they keep more customers hooked that way.
~DId you know that as a homeschooler you get the teacher’s 20% off discount at B&N? Have I told you that before? I feel redundant … hmm.. you have to go in with something identifying you as a homeschooler and they will give you their teacher’s “apple” 20% off card. It is good for everything but magazines and the gifty stuff they have. I took i a copy of the registration form with the state as my “id”.
We don’t have state registration forms. I could take something I’ve made up (one of our daily checklists or schedules)… but I dunno if it’d fly. Worth a try, though…
I made up little “id” cards for us on the computer. Used Avery business card paper — put a photo id on there of each of us (me “the teacher”, the hubby “the principal” and my girl “the student”). Wal-mart had the little self-laminating envelopes for pictures that I used to laminate them. Waldenbooks accepted it as “id” to receive their 20% teachers’ discount. The cards turned out really cute — “Creekside Academy” is the name of our homeschool.
Is that really 350 minutes for the YEAR? I use about five times that in a MONTH. Wow. You really DO hate phones…
