 Church Signs and Scientific Theories
((Or, something weird in Jeremiah))

The other night we were driving home, and passed a church sign (okay, eight church signs, but this is Grand Rapids, home of Christian Reformed Christianity).  It said, "The harvest is over, the Summer is Gone.  - Jeremiah 8:20".

And you know me, I'm into numbers and I thought 'Fact: if 8:20 then 2008'.  Hypothesis: if 8:20 = 2008, then 9:20 = 2009 and 10:20 = 2010?'  Because I think using Scientific Theories on a regular basis.  ((I'm a weird chick.))  So I looked them up, starting with 2007 (which I believe to be the start of the Tribulation, as you know) and going forward we see:

2007 - "Behold, my fury will be poured out on this place..."
       ((Tribulation begins))
2008 - The Harvest is past, the Summer is ended.
((Or, we are now in the Tribulation))
2009 - Teach your daughters wailing, and your neighbors lamentations.
       ((Those left behind, mourning?))
2010 - My tent is plundered, my children have gone...
       ((Midpoint/Rapture?  Or plunder=wrath begins))
2011 - But You who judges righteously... let me see your vengeance.
       ((Wrath poured out))
2012 - There is no verse 20.

((Mayan claim of 12/21/2012 being the end?))

VERY interesting, to say the least.  Because it *DOES* match up with what I see coming down the pipe.  Kinda kewl.  Thought I'd share.

((aNNa'S NoTe:  I had SERIOUS MAJOR problems posting today.  First, Aaron has the flu.  As in, poltergiest baby.  Makes it VERY hard to get anything done, having a 30 pound 16-month old Hoss on your lap, burning up and miserable.  Not to mention the exhaustion factor of being up once an hour all night cleaning up vomit, because he was a rarin' beastie, lemme tell ya.  Second, I read something about how Finacial institutions came about via the Catholic church, and I want to write about it, but don't have my information quite collected, yet.  Third, I started a Ure post that I REALLY want to share, but I had to do a Six-Month Suggestion recap in order to do it, and so I went back looking for the graph I wanted, and found out that I haven't updated the sidebar in six months and my archives are a MESS.  Then I found this in the MIDDLE of a Tids n' Tads, and it needs its own post to be added to the sidebar, so I decided to do this FIRST.  And amazingly, this will seque right into my recap, which will transition seamlessly into the Ure thing, and by then I'll have my Catholic crap gathered up for THAT post.  But whew, what a mess!!))

((FiNaL NoTe:  The footnotes on this will disappear by Monday, since they don't need to be kept.  Just tellin' ya... so's ya know.))

Good...I think I'm ready for something to think on for awhile. After reading about the vaccine error seems like its time to update the old medicine chest & nonfood storage.

You might be interested - I read of review of Steve Solomon's book at the Deliberate Agrarian site & bought a copy. It is worth the money. Title "Gardening When it Counts - Growing Food in Hard Times". He is the original founder of Territorial Seeds & sold it to the current owners. Read the review & if you have any questions just ask. I am glad I did.
