  • Passing it On

This morning my good friend V (Fiberaddict) linked me to a YouTube that was… it was truly amazing.  And because I liked it so much, I’m passing it on to you.  I know she won’t mind.

I love the facial expressions he gave them… but I hate the painting.  Because that man should NOT be just sitting there, dejected.  He should be DOING something.  But it’s like I said… nobody wants to go to jail.  So there will be no revolution.  Not this time.

uPDaTe:  Apparently the artist has done TWO paintings:

… and is a little disillusioned about Obama’s reaction.

  • My husband is a veteran. There is a reason homeland security labelled vets as terrorists. You should hear the talk at the VA up here in Beckley. Or the one he has to go to in Richlands Virginia. They all have families, most of which feel the same way they do – and they aren’t too happy. Since all this started, gun sales have made record highs. Since Obama was re-elected, a lot of people who would have fallen right back asleep had Romney won are waking up. This is their line in the sand. Don’t forget the oath keepers. Military and police took an oath to defend the Constitution from enemies foreign AND domestic. Already Sheriffs and judges all over have said they will not enforce unconstitutional laws.

When they came for Brandon Raub, that woke a LOT of people up too.

  • Go take a look at what State legislatures are doing – most can’t be enforced, but they are passing laws left and right making ANY attempt at gun confiscation illegal. (Of course, we do it different here in TX; a bill has Ben submitted that makes it a felony to assist any fed gun-grabbing. Hasn’t passed yet, AFAIK, but it’s on the floor.)

Problem is, it’s too little, too late I’m afraid. May The Lord come soon, because I want OFF of this ride! I know what’s coming (you can’t have a one-world govm’t if the US is still armed…..) and I don’t wanna be here for it (yes, I Trust…..but I can still be concerned for the methods, you know?)

  • I always enjoy watching artists paint. How they hold their brushes, apply paint, think about what they are going to do next. But then again-that is my entire world at the moment.

Do not be mad that the man is sitting. It evokes motivation at the least. Its a message. Sometimes the best message is a negative one. Who wants to see a painting showing the opposite? Would it inspire change? Not really.

People would see it and agree with it and move along.

*Thanks for sharing this. :o )
