Story of the World — Chapter Twenty-Three
~~~~~~~ The Gods must be Crazy! ~~~~~~~~~I love irony. And how ironic is it that – at the same time as we’re doing this HUGE study of the Greeks, my good friend (and drama instructor) Carolyn had her theatre class at the college do a play about the Greek gods? Entitled, “Iliad, Iliad, Iliad!”, it was a free weekend production suitable for all ages… and we always go to support both the arts and my friend Carolyn… so of course we went to see it!
Gone north to see ‘Iliad, Iliad, Iliad’… a drama class production.We’re making a quarter year study out of the Greeks (I know, and we’ve watched ‘Ulysses’ and two versions of ‘Jason & the Argonauts’ and have Greek Olympics to do (if we can get five minutes home when it’s light out and not raining with Daddy)… and that ON TOP OF our Greek lap-books, mythology cards, and mythology readings!
Also, this morning, I also found two amazingly done YouTube videos of ‘The Iliad’, and ‘The Odyssey’:
I can’t watch that first one without totally cracking up. That was AWESOME!!!
