Thanksgiving Turkeys!
It’s an abbreviated week of schooling for us. We’re doing clockwork and money instead of our regular math, we’re reading about Squanto and the Pilgrims, we’re re-visiting our lap books (made last here, click to link!) We’ve headed back to New England in our state studies, and we’re going to grandma’s all day Thursday for Thanksgiving, of course.
But let’s not forget the penpals where Thanksgiving is concerned! Actually, this craft – offered up by Disney’s Family Fun website – was originally for place cards at the holiday dinner. But we put them on the front of cards that told our penpals how thankful we were to have their friendship. Here’s the original site (link) and isn’t their (<<) art example nice? Of course we did ours up with a little more gusto, because art must always have that personal touch.

Too cute! Hope you enjoy Thanksgiving. Ours is going to be nice and quiet. Just the 5 of us.
Those are totally cute! Now this is off topic but our tap dance is dancing to a totally cute catchy Christmas song that meets all your requirements, you should check out Glee “Deck The Rooftop”. It’s what they call a mash of Deck the Halls and Up on the Rooftop & it is so catchy. There’s a youtube but you said you can’t always download.
